Project No. 4

We were thrilled when a previous client asked us to return to their home to give them what the wife calls a "dramatic, colorful, timeless dining room with a touch of whimsy".  We started with a large scale green wallpaper by Cole & Son that set the tone by delivering drama and tradition. Then we selected a bold fabric to pop off the walls for the window treatments. The amazing panels were done using Designer Guild moire fabric in a beautiful saturated blue. They were detailed out on the permeter with the perfect shade of green moire Schumacher fabric. Samuel & Sons then helped us out by doing custom colored cord without a lip for our cord knot at the pleat that matched their triple bead fringe on the lead edge. The custom host chairs are done in a navy blue velvet with a contrast seat cushion in a green polk-a-dot fabric, finished off with an antique brass nail trim around the perimeter. A custom rug with a mittered 4" cotton binding is by Stark. The buffet and table were the clients own.
